Halloween in Castro Cancelled For Good?

Could it be? The amazing, over-the-top street party I would attend as a teen growing up in the Bay Area might be cancelled forever?

Following two years of violence, the Halloween party in the Castro was cancelled this past year, even though city supervisors had said that it would return this year.
