These Four People Hate You and Your Neighbors

And sadly they are letting all of Oregon down by attempting to crush the Oregon dream for the minority. These four desperate Oregon Republican lawmakers are trying to repeal Oregon's Domestic Partnership and Anti-Discrimination laws.

Here are their pretty little faces.

Signed on to attempt to repeal Oregon's Anti-Discrimination law:

Oregon Senator Gary George
Oregon Senator Gary George

Oregon State Representative Kim Thatcher
Oregon Representative Kim Thatcher

Signed on to repeal Oregon's Domestic Partnership law:

Oregon State Senator Sal Esquivel
Oregon State Senator Sal Esquivel

Oregon State Senator Fred Girod
Oregon Senator Fred Girod

Oregon's already decrepit Republican Party who owes over $265,000 in debts including the IRS for back taxes - stoops to another low. With their sad IRS news hitting newspapers within recent weeks - maybe they saw this as a good time to shift the focus on the gays again. Those damn gays.

More details coming soon.

I am not sure what motivates these individuals to be so afraid of equality and rights for others that they stoop to undermine what the majority of the State legislature and our Governor have done!

They are as afraid of their base staying home on election day as they are of us. That's what motivates this just as much as their inability to treat all Oregonians equally.

That's okay, I don't really like them either. And I consider anyone who throws stones in need of a really good-sized one right to the side of the head.

What kind of insanity drives this kind of nonsense? Are these elected officials this desperate to spew their self righteous nonsense and ignore the real issues like a War, Domestic Abuse, Child Abuse, Poverty, Lack of Health Care, no funds for Law Enforcement, the Huge Meth problem, etc., etc. Is this to say that the millions of tax dollars that Gays and Lesbians pay, year after year, and the allocations to family programs and schools are not needed? I cannot imagine how equal rights could be disputed. Where are they coming from? Perhaps we can ask Larry Craig, over in Idaho. He's another who bashed Gays til he got caught with his pants down in a Men's room! Lets let God, be the judge here, not bigots with nothing better to do.

And, in the midst of all this, did you see the Alliance Defense Fund is throwing themselves back into the fray with a 9th circuit court appeal in Lemons vs. Bradbury? Check out http://www.justout.com/pt/blog/

I've been reading some of their reported quotes, & it makes me want to hurl.
For instance, from the Oregon Daily Emerald:

"Esquivel said that if Oregonians truly do feel this way, then they should be able to display their feelings through a ballot vote. He said he told a BRO employee "you should be the first one to sign the petition if you feel so strongly" that Oregonians want these laws to exist."

He was totally baiting that BRO worker. That's like saying you should prove how much you trust the fire department by soaking your carpet with kerosene!!

As I commented on the ODE website,
I've met people that display this weird behavior that Esquivel is showing- where they twist reality into the opposite. It's all a disturbed, creepy attempt to self-justify bigotry while pouring glue into your brain.

I don't care what your so-called excuse is. If you make efforts to rip families apart, then you are likely capable of other abusive behaviors as well. What a sick jerk.

If only people were nicer... or at least more intelligent.
