Well the bitch has done and pissed me off really bad this time with the gutting af our beautiful Sb 1000 but after talking with some people I have a theory about what might be happening.
First of all any move forward is progress. I believe that the queen realized that sitting on the bill and letting it die wasn't going to fly. Too much bad press during a session that is going to be career ending for more than one person up in Salem. So she had to move it butnot without a catch. I believe that instead of letting it die she realized that she could use the bill and her ammendments in the bargaining game with other bills. Mainly the budget but there are a few other bills sitting in the Senate that I am sure a wingnut like her really needs to get passed if she wants her base to rally around her in '06.
So that is my theory. If it is true I hope that we can get this bill passed in its orignal form without compromising others in our community.

Marshall:

I am going to disagree. I think it is something different. I want to believe that what you said would turn out tobe the truth - and in part it for sure could be. There is much more though. She felt the pressure. She gave 30 mins notice - passed it through a sure thing committee (State and Federal Affairs) and then pretty much locked it in the Budget Committee. Right now we are stuck with no bill to lobby. Shitty situation. Now what is the remedy?

OK, I've had a night to sleep on it and look into it a bit more and I have changed opinion. The woman is just dirty. And she got my Rep. (Linda Flores, Dist. 51) to go along with her game in S&F Affairs. I called my Rep. and let her know how disappointed I was in her decision. Hopefully the House Dems can figure out a way to out maneuver her before session ends. If they don't do you think it will go to the ballot or to the courts??

Marshall,

The woman is dirty. She is scum. She circumvented the true legislative process. A flagrant abuse of power. Flores was just doing what she was told. She was not going to go against Minnis.

Ballot or courts? That is yet to be decided.
